Words from KMF beneficiaries

I am a beneficiary of the Kalonzo Musyoka Foundation. The foundation has been very helpful because it has helped me pay school fees from high school at Tumutumu Girls High School up to now. I am now in third year of university education, pursuing a Bachelors’ degree in Communication and Public relations. I also got an opportunity to work at the foundation as a volunteer. Through this time, I acquired good skills such as filing, record keeping, communication skills and teamwork. KMF has helped me pursue my goals as I aspire to be a great PR Practitioner in future. I would therefore like to thank the foundation and everyone who is a part of it. May God bless KMF!

Lillian Mwandikwa, A student at Maasai Mara University

I am pursuing a degree in Industrial Chemistry with management. I studied at Maryhill Girls High School. The Kalonzo Musyoka Foundation has paid my school fees from form 1 up to form 4. In high school I managed to score a mean grade of A-. They have played a big role in my academic life since they facilitated a platform where I was able to score good grades that enabled me to join a public university and pursue a course of my choice as a regular and government sponsored student.

Bendettah Mwikali Nyerere, First year student at Kenyatta University

I am pursuing a degree in Bachelor of Business Information Technology. Kalonzo Musyoka Foundation has been helping me by paying my tuition fees since my first year in the university and I am very grateful for this great kindness because I could not have made it on my own considering that I come from a very humble family background. Thank you for your continued support and may the Almighty God bless you very much.

Patrick Mutati Kithuka, Second year student at Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology

I sat for my Kenya Certificate of Primary education in 2011 where I emerged with an average score of 364 marks. The marks were enough to get me enrolled in a good quality school only to encounter financial problems. My guardian, sister to my biological mother helped and found me a scholarship at the Kalonzo Musyoka foundation.
The Kalonzo Musyoka foundation has henceforth taken full responsibility for my studies. My high school studies have been comfortable without school fee problems. Without the support, I couldn’t see myself pursuing high school studies and that is why I am without words to express my gratitude to the foundation.
I have a passion for International Relations, therefore I hope the foundation will help me further my studies to a higher level and I promise to give my very best in terms of hard work. As I conclude, I would like to thank all those who have taken part to facilitate my studies. May God bless you abundantly.

Andrew Amani Kalume, In last year of High School

I was sponsored beginning Sept. 2012 and up to now the Kalonzo Musyoka Foundation has supported me a great deal in my studies. My family, society and the whole Kenya have hope in me and am happy and sure of realizing my career – To be a Lecturer.
Thanks KMF for supporting me.

Peter Muthengi Kasuku, Third year student at Kenyatta University

I, Benjamin Musyimi, thank Kalonzo Musyoka Foundation for their financial support in aid of paying school fees for my grandson, Andrew Munyao Muimi, at St. Charles Lwanga School. I have a strong belief that KMF will continue to produce great leaders for this country through education. Long live KMF and the patron Dr. Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka. May God bless KMF for supporting the education of the poor children who would have otherwise become wasted.

My name is George Guyo Roba. I am from Shauri Yako village, Marsabit central, Marsabit county. I come from a very needy family which could not finance my both secondary and University education. After the completion of my primary education at a public primary school where I passed so well, The Kalonzo Musyoka Foundation came in and sponsored my education. I really feel that I owe the foundation. After doing my secondary education I managed to score a B+ securing me a chance at Moi University to pursue a degree in Business Management. I express my heartfelt gratitude to the foundation and pray that the foundation endeavors to help the less fortunate in the society.
